Ladies & Gentleman: PAM GRIER!

Breaking News!

Film legend and TV actress, advocate, philanthropist and author Pam Grier has graciously agreed to join our beloved Ted Allen as a celebrity co-spokesperson of Dining Out For Life International!

Most recently on Showtime's hit series The L Word, Grier came to fame in the early 1970s, after starring in a string of popular blaxploitation films like cult-classic Foxy Brown. One of a few African American actresses to have received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress, Grier has also been nominated for a SAG, Satellite Award, and an Emmy nomination. Check out here bio HERE for more details about this talented titan.

Now we are uber-excited that Grier will be D04L spokesperson, but we also are geeking out about her other upcoming assignment! Grier will soon be seen as the diabolical Amanda Waller on CW's Smallville. Read more about that casting coup HERE!

I love Pam. She is great. I've been in love with her since I seen here in the Coffy foxy brown flicks. She is somewhat of a hero to me being one of the first Black women to have her own movie franchise! And Jackie Brown was well over due. I'd marry her right now! No questions asked
