Prom Night and Healthcare

Hello everyone! This will be a quick news round-up since we're busy getting ready for April 29th, but here are a few important articles I thought I should share.

Obamacare has caused dissent among the GOP, but how will it effect AIDS care? In Utah, some Republicans are trying to cut funding for the Ryan White Program which helps low income people living with HIV/AIDS afford medicine. Read about it here.

Prom Night can conjure up images of teens finally losing their virginity to each other, but one man wrote a play trying to instead show Prom as a time for teens to make smart, healthy decisions about sex. The play is called "Prom Date" and its main message is one about HIV awareness for teens. Read more here.
