Sunny El Paso, Texas celebrates another year of Dining Out for Life, which will help keep International AIDS Empowerment thriving. On Thursday, April 28, 2011, nearly 30 area restaurants will be donating 25% of their sales for the day.
Just like its array of residents, El Paso has a variety of restaurants that will satisfy any craving, ranging from sushi to burgers, Italian to sandwiches, many of which are participating in this event. For a full list of restaurants options, go HERE .
If you have a case of cinephila, pay a visit to Fellini Film Café, located at 220 Cincinnati Street. The café, which pays tribute to the Italian cinema master Frederico Fellini, features a menu that includes a variety of pick-me-ups like espressos, cappuccinos, and teas, with desserts, salads, custom-made sandwiches, and even a vegetarian menu. And on April 28, 2011, C.R.A.Z.Y, the critically-acclaimed French Film, will be the feature film. Bon Appetite! For more information on food, drinks, and films, go to the website.
Whether you chose a salad or steak, the main benefit is that you’ll be supporting a good cause. International AIDS Empowerment works day-in and day-out to provide quality care, prevention, and social services to people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. This group creates and carries out programs like HIV/AIDS education, HIV/AIDS screening and peer case management, and feeds families affected by HIV in their hometown of El Paso.
