Reno, 411
Unless you’re Dining Out for Life in Reno, you’re in Rubble!
Dining Out for Life in the Reno and Northern Nevada area will benefit Northern Nevada H.O.P.E.S. On Thursday, April 28, 2011, dine at a participating restaurant and support the nonprofit organization that is the premier center for HIV/AIDS treatment and care in Nevada . H.O.P.E.S covers most of the state, except for the four counties surrounding the Las Vegas region. H.O.P.E.S. wants to unite Nevadans in the battle against HIV/AIDS, and works hard to provide ongoing, patient-centered clinical intervention, case management, and community leadership. To learn more about H.O.P.E.S and or follow them on Twitter at @NNHopes.
Participating restaurants include Fresh Mex. This Mexican restaurant encourages all consumers to “never trust a skinny chef!” and has a philosophy to never use box cutters, can openers, or microwaves. All ingredients are fresh and mostly local, making up dishes like fresh tacos, jumbo burritos, quesadillas, and more.
Or, if you’re more of a wino, Whispering Vine Wine Company is also participating in Dining Out for Life. The Whispering Vine offers fine wine at incredible prices. With a selection of over 2,400 wines, 1,500 of which are under $20 and 450 that are under $10, you’re guaranteed to find something you like, or at least something you’re willing to try.
