Mile High Dining!

Colarado! The Rocky Mountains and the Rockies baseball team are just two highlights to this Western state, which boasts beautiful landscapes, diverse cities, and now, Dining Out for Life. On Thursday, April 28, 2011, restaurants across in the Fort Collins area and Northern Colorado will be raising HIV/AIDS awareness and bringing in funds for the Northern Colorado AIDS Project (NCAP).

Dubbed by NCAP as “Dinner with a side of hope,” Dining Out for Life will help get funds to a fantastic organization that aims to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS, and to help reduce the spread—and stigma—of the disease. In its 26th year of making a difference, NCAP reaches out to those affected by the disease in Northern Colorado, including the remote sections. To find out more about the mission and accomplishments of NCAP, go to HERE. You can also find them on Facebook.

Hours of operation vary for each restaurant, but with Austin's American Grill, there’s no excuse for not participating in Fort Collins’ Dining Out for Life. Both Austin's in Old Town and on Harmony Rd. will be donating a portion of sales from lunch and dinner. Go any time on April 28, 2011, and rest assured that your cash will be going to the right spot. Austin’s American Grill is Fort Collins’ favorite hip, comfortable place to meet and eat. Enjoy savory meats cooked over an open flame, cocktails made with fresh squeezed juice and desserts made from scratch. Austin’s is always a welcome slice of home and a genuine taste of home-style American comfort food.

Dining Out for Life in Fort Collins is backed by some impressive sponsors, too. The radio station that plays the songs of the moment,99.9 The Point, and Odell Brewing Company, the brewers who bring you crafted beer, are sponsoring Dining Out for Life.
